Whew! It feels as if an eternity has passed between the last wedding and now. In reality, it has only been about two and a half weeks! The summer is flying by and we are steadily working our way through it. In-between all of the daily edits we do from our smaller shoots, its nice to have the creative work of a wedding to dig into as well. June's wedding was a great creative opportunity for us. Some weddings are for refining and honing your skills and then sometimes you get a wedding client with a specific vision in mind that allows you to play outside of the box. Jamie and Ronan's wedding was exactly that type of wedding!

Jamie is the sister of one of our brides from last year. It was great to work with familiar faces again and it also just feels so good to know that you did such a good job the first time that a client wants to hire you again and again. Seriously, this business wouldn't be anywhere without word of mouth recommendations!

Speaking of familiar faces we again worked with JSL Visions on this wedding. They are seriously the best planning team we have ever worked with. Judy is so attentive and thorough it gives everyone participating in the day peace of mind. I watched Judy calmly and efficiently handle the bride's broken dress strap minutes before she was set to walk down the aisle. And they'll do your hair and makeup! JSL Visions really is the total package.

Some of our favorite photos from the day are from the mini portrait session of just the bride and groom. We loved how Jamie was open to moody black and white photos that played with movement.

This wedding was such a breeze and a great team of vendors helped it go smoothly but I think it all really came down to Ronan and Jamie themselves. They were easy going and were always ready with a laugh and a smile. They had a great vision for their day and were strong with their trust in us to carry it out. We really love these photos and how they capture the spirit of the day and the spritis of Jamie and Ronan.
